" First, you must learn to know who you are" - Students are encouraged to embrace all the different versions of themselves. They first learn to acknowledge and then to appreciate both positive and negative traits.

By unlocking new abilities and releasing their inhibitions, actors are able to make a personal connection with the character, authentically building upon what they've been given by the writer.
